Less poignant, more a marker to remember. To remember the importance of documenting. It’s one thing to imagine and then implement something new. But to also then record what that new thing is.
If anything I’m realizing that brilliant people get so busy doing brilliant things—that they never spend the time to reflect, to articulate, to archive, to pass on. Those processes get lost in the shuffle.
It’s reinforced by the fact that it’s hard. It’s time-consuming. It’s a whole onto itself.
But also it’s need to be cherished by the environment and culture of which it exists within. That you people to recognize the importance, to ask for it, and to allow time and space for you to do it.
The documenting of a process is a process itself.
